I'm so happy that I don't have to spend $100 to buy it. Although $30 bucks is a bit steep it's one of my favorite movies of all time (right below Paprika, spirited away, and howl's moving castle) and it also has a ton of extras. Though would it really kill them to do some commentary? I love director's commentary.

$30 is about the cheapest I've ever seen any anime. You're lucky you missed out on the VHS days. I bought Macross Plus, which was broken up into 4 episodes, 2 on each cassette tape. They were $45 each circa 1998.

I know it used to be really expensive. I'm very thankful for things like crunchyroll and Hulu plus.

Pretty sure that somebody at Honda is secretly working on that, even non bike people would buy it.
